Zwei Siege in Folge: Nachdem sich der Cadillac Lyriq letztes Jahr den Sieg im Segment „Luxury“ geholt hat, nimmt heuer sein größeres Schwestermodell Vistiq die Trophäe mit. Knapp 100.000 Euro kostet der neue Cadillac Vistiq, er positioniert sich damit im obersten Marktsegment und konkurriert mit den Spitzenmodellen der etablierten Herstellern. Dass es dafür alle Voraussetzungen mitbringt, das beweist der Titel „German Luxury Car Of The Year“, den er im scharfen Wettbewerb mit den anderen Neuvorstellungen der Fahrzeugklasse über 70.000 Euro errungen hat.
Für Cadillac bedeuten die Elektromodelle Lyriq, Vistiq und Optiq einen Neustart. Es gibt die Marke zwar schon seit 1902, sie stand schon immer für Opulenz und Luxus. Aber in Europa konnte sie nie so richtig Fuß fassen. Das könnte sich jetzt ändern.
Stolze 5,22 Meter lang und 2,03 Meter breit: Der Vistiq bietet sieben Personen großzügigste Raumverhältnisse. Vor dem Fahrer spannt sich eine breite Armaturentafel auf, die Sitze sind überaus bequem, die Materialien genügen höchsten Ansprüchen. Geradezu sensationell ist das Dolby-Atmos-Soundsystem von AKG, mit dem nicht weniger als 23 Lautsprecher angesteuert werden.
Für standesgemäßen Vortrieb sorgt ein Elektroantrieb mit stolzen 475 kW/646 PS, der das 2,9-Tonnen-Gefährt, wenn es sein muss, in nur 3,7 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h peitscht. Abgeregelt wird bei 210 km/h. Doch die Domäne des Cadillac Vistiq ist das Gleiten. Die leichtgängige Lenkung liefert angenehme Rückmeldung, das Fahrwerk ist komfortabel ausgelegt.
Dass Cadillac auch sportlich kann, das beweisen die eindrucksvollen Modelle der Blackwing-Serie, die in den USA nicht nur über großvolumige Verbrennungsmotoren, sondern optional auch über eine klassische Handschaltung verfügen. Doch der Vistiq steht für kompromisslosen Luxus - und damit hat er sich den Sieg in dieser GCOTY-Kategorie, den letztes Jahr übrigens sein kleinerer Bruder namens Lyriq eingefahren hat, zweifellos verdient.
